Crudités
Crudités is a very popular healthy snack. It’s variety of raw vegetables with a dip sauce. We will cut veggies on long slices/sticks and make our own homemade dip.
It is more convenient if you’re with more than just one person, but nice thing is that you can keep it cut in the fridge for couple of days. In case of crises (hunger crises) you can always snack on veggies.
Ingredients:
- 1 chicory
- 2 longer carrots
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 cucumber
- 1 zucchini
- 5 radish
- 5 cherry tomatoes
Chicory – cut the bottom off and take the leaves apart
Carrot – cut it half and then each half on 4 pieces
Bell pepper – cut it on half, take the seeds out, cut it on long strings
Cucumber & Zucchini – cut it same way as carrots, long “sticks”
Radish – cut them on half if too big and sticks them on the toothpick
Cherry tomatoes – put them on a toothpick

Crudités is ready now let’s prepare them for serving. Take a bowl (like a cereal bowl) and put in 2 big spoons of a dip. I suggest you either use yoghurt dip (recipe) or hummus (recipe).
Stick the veggies into the dip and snack is ready!
PS: This is the best snack in case of “feeling snacking” while watching TV in the evening. Chewing on veggies with some nice dip will satisfy your belly and there wont be any guilt afterwards! 😉
