Spicy Chai Latte

Spicy Chai Latte is drink for the autumn and winter. The spices in this black tea in a combination of nut milk (or cow milk if preferred) remind us on December holidays, Christmas, fire place, snow, Christmas tree, free time, shopping time, family time, on all the presents, freshly baked cookies, the smell of all the delicious food.

I love it a lot and although I like almond milk I still often make it with full fat cow milk. 🙂

Spicy Chai Latte Chai Latte

1 tsp of loose Chai tea

1 tsp of coconut palm sugar (if you like it sweet)

2 dcl of warm foamy milk (almond/hazelnut/soya/cow milk)

½ tsp cinnamon for the topping or

½ tsp Speculaas spices

Put loose tea in a filter bag or filter egg and poor over approximately 0,5 dcl hot water (95° C) – just enough to make a “shot” of strong tea. In meanwhile tea is soaking you can warm up the milk, if possible make a foam like for coffee latte.

Take the tea bag out and pour the warm milk. Sprinkle some cinnamon or Speculaas spices on top and enjoy!
